Join
To “Join” Wanderung is to join a mailing list.
The Wanderung mailing list is for hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country and backcountry skiing, and other outdoor activities described in the FAQ. In a given week you should expect to receive 1 weekly newsletter, and 1 e-mail for every “Callout” (a formatted invitation to participate in an outdoor event). There are typically 1 to 10 call-outs per week depending on the season.

Participants are free to join trips, or organize their own through a call out template.
Our mailing lists are not moderated which means if you post emails that are not callouts, you will be removed from the list. As soon as you join, you will be able to post to this list but we ask that read our FAQ, and our rules, or join a few Callouts as a participant before you do.
You must be at least 19 years old to join the list, or participate in any activities organized by other list subscribers.
Please note that your privacy is important to Wanderung. Though we may embed advertising in Wanderung newsletters, we will never distribute or sell our e-mail list to commercial advertisers (or anyone for that matter)
